Joy Hendry is Professor Emerita of Social Anthropology at Oxford Brookes University in the UK and is author of the university-level textbook Sharing Our Worlds, now in its second edition.
Simon Underdown is Senior Lecturer in Biological Anthropology at Oxford Brookes University, where his research explores human evolution and disease.

talking with my daughter of 17 about future studies, she was not sure what to think. i have met so many persons who in the same position decided to take the anthropology university degree route and all, in the end turned out to be creative and working in areas of business that they would never have dreamed of until somehow, anthropological studies "steered" them int he right direction. Lucinda read the book in a wink which surprised me because she is s slow reader and now its all about the next book.......and ....... so i highly recoemmend this book to all "un-sure" kids/adults and curious persons.
